Justin Goes Electro-Industrial On New Record

Rumor on the blog circuit is that Justin will be teaming up with electro-pop/industrial artist Jimmy Edgar for his third album. I’m not really sure if this is true, but Jimmy himself dropped the news on his blog Everything Is Chemical. I’m also not sure what kind of music this will result in, but it can’t be any weirder than Lil Wayne going rock (which happens to be awesome). Also, Justin’s kind of a musical genius . . .

Justin Timberlake’s new album may feature a contribution from Jimmy Edgar as the Detroit-based electronic music artist has said to be in studio to make music for Justin’s next effort. “After my tour, I’m taking a trip to work on Justin Timberlakes new album for a few weeks.”

Jimmy Edgar, the singer/music producer has released three studio albums, dropping his latest record called “Color Strip” in 2006. Most recently, he is working with Scottish musician Steve Mason for Steve’s new solo project.
