Justin Helps George Lopez Support The National Kidney Foundation

UPDATE: I have not heard anything further on Justin’s attendance to this event, which would lead me to believe that he’d been invited, but was not actually able to make it.

Last night, comedian and avid golfer George Lopez kicked off the 30th Annual Gift of Life Tribute Celebration with a star studded dinner at the Beverley Wilshire in LA. The dinner jump starts Lopez’s golf event which is being held in the name of The National Kidney Foundation.

This year’s [event is] paying tribute to noted philanthropist Stewart Rahr, President & CEO of Kinray, Inc.

[ . . .] A massive turn out of stars for a special dinner at the Beverly Wilshire, includ[ed] Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Longoria, Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, Ray Romano, Jessica Alba, Justin Timberlake, Luke Wilson and Natalie Cole. Today sees many of these stars hitting the golf course at the Lakeside Golf Club in support of the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California’s efforts to further scientific research in preventing kidney disease and ultimately finding a cure to improve the quality of life for patients with kidney disease.

How in the world could he be in NY, go back to LA for this and have to be in NY tonight for that fashion event he’s co-hosting. Not to mention they spend the week working on skits for SNL. It makes no sense.

I thought about that, and I would assume he didn’t really get to play any golf for the Lopez fundraiser. He probbably headed back to NY after the dinner, maybe hit up the SNL studio, and started preparing for the Gala. They still have a few days for the SNL skits, and I remmeber him saying in an interview that the skits aren’t ever really set in stone. They come up with some ideas for a show, but I don’t think it’s crazy organized. I don’t think sketch comedy can be. Plus he probably isn’t writing all of the material.

I don’t know how he can fly from one side of the country to the other in one day. I couldn’t do it. But then I’m one of those people who have a real fear of flying. It just sounds crazy to me. I know celebrites seem to do it all the time. Is there any pictures of this showing justin there. I’m just wondering if they are mistaken about justin being there. He’s going to be exhausted.

I just went and checked wire image and see pictures of George and other celebrities on the red carpet for this event but none of justin. Are you sure he wasn’t just on the invite list but was unable to make it because of being in NY?
