Justin To Play Role Of Facebook Creator

That’s right ladies and gents, it seems JT has signed himself on for another film where he will play one of the three Harvard roommates responsible for creating the wildly popular social networking site, Facebook. Damn it, why wasn’t I being this awesome in college?

Carson Reeves of ScriptShadow has brought up the possibility through his Facebook page, writing that the Grammy-winning singer will take the role of Sean Parker.

On a post dated Wednesday, September 2, Reeves didn’t only point out on Timberlake’s casting rumor, but also on the potential cast for two other major characters. “Getting word that The Social Network cast is set,” so his post opened. “And, probably to no one’s surprise, Jesse Eisenberg will play Mark Zuckerberg. A bit more of a surprise: Justin Timberlake will play Sean Parker. Wow. Finally, Andrew Garfield will play the part of Eduardo.”

Providing support to this rumor, The Playlist insisted that those three actors are indeed in consideration. “A good inside source who’s been poking us on this Facebook project lately says that yes,” it claimed, “all those actors are under consideration and were all present for a table read with [David] Fincher and casting person Laray Mayfield…”
