Matt has been my friend since I was 11 years old. And we have a connection through music that is like nothing I have with anyone else on the planet. And we can go not seeing each other for 5-6 years and then sit down and write a song together and it would be something exceptional. He’s like a chameleon—his music ability, knowledge, and application. I would like to pride myself on being like that as well. And he has the sickest voice I’ve ever heard. Amazing songwriter. He likes to tell stories. He likes to influence consciousness.
